  • WHO’S YELLOWBELLY?

  • WHERE DO YOU TAKE PHOTOS & REELS?

    Mare Street Studios, 203/213 Mare St, London, E8 3QE

  • HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE?

    SIXETY: 60 mins
    NINETY: 90 mins
    Reels Package: 60 mins

  • HOW MANY PHOTOS/REELS DO I GET?

    SIXETY: 3 final edited images
    NINETY: 5 final edited images
    Reels Package: 1 fully edited Reel

  • CAN I PURCHASE ADDITIONAL IMAGES OR REELS?

    Yes! You can add extras:
    Additional images: £30 each

    Extra versions of Reels for social media can also be purchased.

  • CAN I HAVE UNEDITED IMAGES?

    PHOTOS – We don’t release unedited gallery but you can purchase the whole gallery professionally colour-graded for £150. (t&c apply)


    REELS – Unfortunately we don’t give out any un-edited reels footage

  • WHEN WILL I RECEIVE EVERYTHING FROM THE SESSION?

    You’ll receive your  Online proofing gallery within 24 hours (usually later the same day/evening).


    Final edited images will be delivered within 14 days after selection and payment for any extras.


    Fully edited Reels will be delivered within 7 days of your shoot.

  • CAN I HAVE THEM ASAP?

    Yes! We offer an express service for £40 delivering all your chosen edits within 2 working days after payment. (Subject to availability.)

     

  • CAN I BRING SOMEONE WITH ME?

    Headshots: We HIGHLY recommend coming alone, as having others in the studio can be distracting. They are welcome to wait in the café.


    Reels: You can bring someone to assist with eyeline reference or an acting coach if needed.

  • ARE THERE ACCESSIBLE FACILITIES?

    Yes – our building and studio is wheelchair accessible.

  • IS THERE A TOILET THERE?

    Yes, there are toilets in the café area and on each studio floor.

  • IS THERE COFFEE AND FOOD AVAILABLE?

    If you have time to spare before your session or simply fancy a nibble afterwards, the wonderful cafe is open Mon-Friday.

  • HOW DO I PAY?

    A deposit is required at the time of booking via Stripe.
    The remaining balance is due 72 hours before your shoot.

  • HELP, I’M REALLY NERVOUS!

    Please, don’t be! All our YB Team are actors themselves so they know just how you’re feeling – they’ve been there before and know exactly what is needed for a chilled, fun shoot.

  • WHICH PACKAGE SHOULD I GET?

    If you want multiple hair/makeup changes, NINETY is ideal.
    If you plan to shave mid-shoot, NINETY is highly recommended.

     

  • CAN I SPLIT MY PACKAGE OVER 2 DAYS?

    Absolutely – we offer a custom packages – contact us for pricing – [email protected]

  • DO YOU DO OUTDOOR AND INDOOR SHOTS?

    No, we shoot exclusively in our indoor studios.

  • DO YOU SHOOT NON-ACTORS?

    We do indeed. Whether you’re a comedian, casting director or want more of a corporate shot for your job/business – we’ve got you covered.

  • CAN I CHAT ABOUT WHAT I WANT TO ACHIEVE FROM THE SESSION?

    At the start of each session, you and your YB team member will have a detailed chat to ensure you’re both on the same page. Throughout the session, they’ll also show you previews of the photos/reels to make sure you’re happy with the direction.
    It’s always helpful if you bring references of shots you like from our website or Instagram—this way, we can collaborate to achieve the look you’re aiming for.

     

    For Reels – We find it works best when you do a mock-run or deliver a few lines so we can show you the lighting set up before you start concentrating on your scene.

  • ARE THERE FACILITIES TO DO MAKE-UP/ HAIR?

    Yes, the studio has a makeup area where you can do touch-ups between looks.

  • WHAT HAPPENS IF I NEED TO RESCHEDULE/ CANCEL?

    Rescheduling: You can reschedule once up to 72 hours before your shoot without losing your deposit.

    Cancellations: Deposits are non-refundable.

    If you cancel within 72 hours, a new deposit is required.

    If you cancel within 48 hours, 50% of your total session fee is charged.

    If you cancel within 24 hours, you are charged the full session fee.

  • Can I request a re-edit of my final images?

    Our editors apply the distinctive YellowBelly style, as seen on our website and social media.
    We aim to follow specific client requests provided before editing.
    One revision is included. Additional re-edit requests will incur a fee.

    For Reels:
    Re-edit requests must be made within 7 days of delivery and will incur a fee.
    Due to file size limitations, we cannot store files beyond this timeframe.

  • CAN I DO A DUOLOGUE?

    No, we do not record a second person. However, you can bring someone to act as your eye line or an acting coach.

  • DO YOU PROVIDE MONOLOGUES?

    Not yet – were currently in the process of making a suggestions guide… watch this space!

  • CAN I DO A SLATE WITHIN THE SESSION?

    We do not film slates during photography sessions.
    A 30-minute slate session can be added for £180, including three takes delivered with your photos. Our Slates will be in the same set up as one of our portraits, not our reels.

  • DO YOU DO TOPLESS PHOTOS?

    No, we do not take topless photos. Our photographers reserve the right to refuse any shots they deem inappropriate.

  • CAN I CUSTOMISE MY REEL?

    Our standard Reels package includes the exact setup showcased on our socials: a two-camera shoot with selected zoomed-in angles.

    If you’d like any variations or a more bespoke setup, please let us know in advance of your session so we can tailor the quote accordingly.

    Please note that on the day of your shoot, our team will deliver the standard setup as outlined in the advertised package.
